Opening Note

Luxury is subjective.

A few years back, we challenged our Instagram community to give their interpretation of what luxury meant to them. As expected, we got a variety of answers.

I can remember my personal breakthrough moment where, after an introspective conversation with an excellent questioner, my definition of luxury was challenged forever. This individual helped to guide me through my mental processes which helped me to arrive at this beautiful conclusion that luxury for me was simply a relaxing day at the beach. That was the beginning of my journey towards brand authenticity. Previously, my interpretation of ‘luxury’ was purely materialistic, lacking any substance.

This realization eventually caused us to change the name of our company from Luxurious Life Scents to The Taliaferro. Our journey has been about redefining luxury and encouraging people to look within for the true beauty of life.

Featured Fragrance: B.E.D (Become. Everyone’s. Desire)

B.E.D Fragrance

This fragrance is so special to us, it was our first fragrance launch EVER. Here’s a rarely known fact, originally it was known as B.E.D for Him and the fragrance now known as Room 129 was considered B.E.D for Her. This changed later since we went in the direction of unisex fragrances for our entire catalog.

This fragrance is so clean, refreshing and clingy, you will love it! With notes like red currant, tea, bergamot, how could you not adore it?

Client Spotlight

“My beautiful package arrived timely. Presentation is everything = only one chance to make a first impression. The box, the bag and the bottle all made me feel you wanted me to have a good experience visually as well. Choosing a fragrance off line is a roll of the dice. I LOVE the fragrance it’s me. I am happy I chose you and I wish you amazing things in the future. I have a new man and a new fragrance just for us 👍🏾😍.”

The Blend — Fragrance Categories

Many people don’t realize there are industry categories for fragrances.

Designer fragrances are typically mass produced and widely distributed. Ultra-luxury fragrances often emphasize exclusivity, rare materials, and prestige branding. Niche fragrances focus on artistry, creativity, and storytelling — often created by independent houses with a distinct point of view.

We proudly fall into the niche perfume category.
